Refund Policy
This policy outlines cancellations, refunds, purchase returns, and refundable security deposit handling for House of Kanya.

Rental Booking Payments
Rental booking confirmations may require advance payment and a refundable security deposit. Once dates, pieces, or logistics are reserved, charges may become partially or fully non-refundable depending on preparation, blocking period, and delivery commitments.
Security Deposit
Security deposits are refundable after the rented items are returned on time and verified to be in original agreed condition. Deductions may apply in case of damage, breakage, loss, missing components, excessive wear, cleaning abuse, or delayed return.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations requested well in advance may qualify for partial adjustment, subject to booking status.
- Last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or event-date cancellations may not qualify for refund.
- Any non-recoverable preparation, customization, transport, or consultation costs may be deducted.
Purchase Returns
Purchased items are generally not eligible for return or refund unless the item delivered is materially defective, damaged in transit, or different from the confirmed order. Any such issue must be reported promptly with supporting photos and order details.
Refund Timelines
Approved refunds or security deposit releases are processed within a reasonable business timeframe after verification. Actual credit timing depends on the payment channel or bank.
Non-Refundable Cases
- Change of mind after confirmed booking or dispatch.
- Failure to provide required information, documents, or timely coordination.
- Damage or misuse caused after handover.
- Custom styling, special sourcing, or reserved event-date commitments already fulfilled by our team.
