What we offer

Getting to know House of Kanya

Start here for rent vs buy, custom timelines, occasions, and how jewellery reaches you — before the booking and logistics details below.

What type of jewellery do you offer?+

At House of Kanya, we offer premium artificial jewellery for bridal functions, festive occasions, and styled looks — from bridal sets and chokers to earrings, maang tikkas, and coordinated pieces for the whole family. You can rent for your event, or buy selected pieces to keep. Browse our collections, or visit our Sector 40, Gurugram studio to see the range in person.

Can I buy jewellery, or do you only rent?+

You can do both. Many of our clients rent for weddings and festivals; others fall in love with pieces they simply want to keep. Not sure which path is yours? WhatsApp us with your date and outfit references, or take the Find Your Fit quiz — we will help you decide.

Do you customise or personalise jewellery?+

Yes — but always bespoke, never on-demand. Custom work, whether it is a design alteration, a specific stone combination, a size adjustment, or building a coordinated set from scratch, needs at least 4 weeks from confirmation to delivery. Timelines also depend on karigar availability, especially during peak wedding and festival season. This is not a same-week custom service — every bespoke piece needs time because it is made with care and intention.

If you need something sooner, our personal styling service draws from existing collection pieces, curated and combined to match your outfit, function, and family look. We can do this in the studio, or over WhatsApp and video if you cannot visit.

Unsure what your timeline allows? Send us a message. We will always tell you honestly what is possible.

Is your jewellery suitable for weddings and parties?+

Absolutely. Our bridal packages and single-function bookings cover everything from Roka/Sagai to Mehendi/Haldi, Sangeet, Reception, and the wedding day itself. For Diwali, Karva Chauth, theme parties, and similar celebrations, see our Festival Jewellery Rental. We believe in styling for the occasion — never forcing one look onto every event.

If your bridal package involves any custom coordination across multiple functions, we recommend starting 6–8 weeks ahead.

Do you sell celebrity-inspired or "worn by" jewellery?+

We do not sell "worn by" pieces or claim named celebrity associations. Our focus is on function-ready, photo-ready artificial jewellery that is styled for your outfit and your celebration.

But here is what we do believe: at House of Kanya, you are the celebrity. Our definition is simple — a celebrity is anyone who is the celebration itself; anyone celebrating life surrounded by the people they love. Bring us a reference from Pinterest, a shoot, or an event, and we will help you find a beautiful, wearable match from our collection. If time allows, we can also explore bespoke options.

How do I get the jewellery — is there shipping?+

We work by studio pickup, Porter delivery across covered Delhi NCR areas (about 60 km), and planned destination timelines across India — not pan-India add-to-cart shipping. You will find all the details on our rental guide and destination weddings pages.

What if I am unsure where to start?+

Simply WhatsApp us with your event date, city, and a few outfit references — or visit our studio (11:30 am–8:30 pm daily).

  • If your event is more than 4 weeks away, we can explore both bespoke customisation and styling from our existing collection.
  • If your event is under 4 weeks away, we will work with current collection pieces through personal styling.

For a quick steer between renting and buying, try our Find Your Fit quiz. For step-by-step booking rules, head to the rental guide.

Do you offer traditional Indian bridal styles?+

Yes. We curate premium artificial bridal and occasion jewellery in both traditional and contemporary looks — statement sets, chokers, earrings, maang tikkas, and more. Because our collection rotates, the best way to confirm what is currently in stock is to visit us or WhatsApp your outfit reference. We never claim to carry every regional craft technique as a permanent fixture; instead, we offer what is beautiful, wearable, and in studio now.

Who is this for besides the bride?+

Brides, sisters, mothers, bridesmaids, festive wearers, and family groups — plus creators and teams who book our studio rental for shoots. Everyone walks into the same studio; everyone leaves with a look styled to their role and their occasion.

How far in advance should I book for custom work?+

Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for bespoke pieces. During peak wedding season (roughly October–March; busiest November–February) and around major festivals, 6–8 weeks is safer because of karigar availability. Styling from our existing stock can usually be arranged 1–2 weeks out, subject to availability.

For a plain-language walkthrough of costs, deposit, and each booking step, see our bridal jewellery rental guide.

Valid government-issued ID is required. For NRI or destination bookings, Aadhaar of a local contact in India is mandatory — see our destination wedding NRI journey for how remote booking, local-contact pickup, and advance payment work.

What happens if jewellery is damaged?+

Security deposit will be deducted as per damage assessment. We assess fairly and work with you on resolution.

Can I extend my rental period?+

Let us know in advance - extensions may be possible.

What happens if I return the jewellery late?+

₹1,000 per day fine. Let us know in advance - extensions may be possible.

Can I cancel my booking?+

We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel before your jewellery is dispatched or picked up, let us know as early as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that cancellations closer to your event date, no-shows, or cancellations after dispatch may be subject to our refund and cancellation policy — we recommend reviewing it for exact terms before booking.

Yes. The person collecting the jewellery must provide their ID.

How should I care for rented jewellery?+

Handle the jewellery carefully, keep every piece secure, and return it in agreed condition.

Do you deliver outside Gurugram?+

Yes. We cover Delhi NCR within about 60 km of our Sector 40, Gurugram studio — including Noida, Faridabad, Manesar, Ghaziabad, and Delhi — with Porter delivery available for covered locations. Studio pickup in Gurugram remains available. Destination wedding deliveries across India can be arranged separately. For a plain comparison of studio pickup, trusted pickup, and Porter, see Jewellery Rentals Near Me: Studio Pickup vs. Porter Delivery.

Can I reserve jewellery in advance?+

Yes. We recommend reserving 4-6 weeks in advance, especially in October-March.

How do I know the jewellery will fit / can I get sizing help?+

Most of our pieces are adjustable — necklaces and chokers come with drawstrings, hooks, or multiple sizing points to fit a range of sizes, though a few pieces have fixed sizing. Before your event, we recommend visiting our Sector 40 studio for an in-person trial so you can see the fit and finish firsthand. If a studio visit isn't possible, we can also walk you through the pieces on a video call — though an in-person trial is always the best way to confirm fit and comfort before your big day.

What's included in the rental price?+

Rental pricing covers the selected pieces, professional cleaning and packaging, and styling support where applicable.

Is the deposit included in the rental price?+

No. The security deposit is separate from the rental price and is 100% refundable when jewellery is returned in agreed condition. More detail in our costs, deposit, and booking guide.

It depends on how often you'll wear the piece. Renting is ideal for one-time or occasional wear — like your wedding day or a specific function — since you get premium styling at a fraction of the cost without long-term storage or upkeep. Buying makes more sense for pieces you'll wear repeatedly across multiple occasions. We offer both options, so you can choose based on what fits your needs — see our pricing for rental and purchase details.
