A bride we spoke with was juggling three functions in one week, a job she couldn't take more leave from, and a mother-in-law arriving two days before the wedding. Somewhere in that chaos, she almost forgot to ask how the jewellery actually gets to her. There were options she didn't know existed. Once she knew them, one less thing sat on her plate.
If You Can Visit Yourself
This is the easiest path — and the nicest — if your week allows it. You walk into the Sector 40 studio, hold the pieces, try them against your outfit if you've brought it, and leave knowing what you're getting. No guessing how a photo compares to real light. The studio is open daily, 11:30 am to 8:30 pm. Even a packed pre-wedding week usually has a gap for a quick visit.
If You Can't Come, But Someone You Trust Can
You don't have to be the one who shows up. A parent, a sibling, a close friend, even a driver you trust completely can pick up and return the jewellery for you. A valid government ID is still required before jewellery leaves — sorted remotely or arranged ahead — so the person walking in doesn't need to be you. Just someone reliable enough to bring everything back the way it left.
This is the quiet option for anyone with a bit of breathing room — not racing the clock, just unable to make it in person. Send your sister. Send your cousin. It works.
When Time Has Truly Run Out
Then there's Porter delivery — the option we'd suggest last, not first. It exists for the moment neither you nor anyone around you can get to the studio, and the wedding is close enough that waiting isn't an option. It covers Delhi NCR within roughly 60 km — Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad — with the jewellery brought to your door. It's fast. It also means choosing sight-unseen. That's why studio pickup, by you or someone on your behalf, is the better first choice when there's time.
The Porter charge is on you, not folded into the rental price. Small and practical — just worth knowing before you decide.
What Never Changes
Deposit, ID check, wear it, return it, get your deposit back — that part stays the same on every path. Only who makes the trip, and when, shifts. For the deposit and booking steps in more detail, see our costs, deposit, and booking guide.
Which Path Fits Your Week?
If there's any time at all, visit yourself or send someone you trust — both let you see what you're getting before the day. Save delivery for when the clock has run out. That's what it's built for — not the easier default.
