How the rental process works

  2. Book Your Pieces

    Confirm your jewellery selection, rental fee and applicable refundable security amount.

  3. Submit ID

    Provide valid government-issued ID for rental verification.

  4. Collect & Celebrate

    Collect your jewellery from the studio or arrange available NCR delivery.

  5. Return & Refund

    Return the jewellery in agreed condition. The refundable security is then processed according to the applicable return process.

The Money, Explained

Rental fee and security are separate

Your rental fee covers the agreed rental of the jewellery. A separate refundable security amount applies to the booking. The security amount depends on the jewellery pieces and package you select and is confirmed before booking.

NCR Delivery

Delivery to covered locations

NCR delivery is available to covered locations within about 60 km of the Sector 40 studio, including Noida, Faridabad, Manesar, Ghaziabad and Delhi. Delivery is arranged through the existing House of Kanya delivery process once your booking is confirmed.

How does jewellery rental work in Gurgaon?+

House of Kanya jewellery rental works by selecting your jewellery, confirming the rental fee and applicable refundable security amount, completing ID verification, collecting or receiving the jewellery, and returning it in agreed condition. Studio pickup is available in Sector 40, Gurugram, and NCR delivery is available to covered locations.

Is the security really refundable?+

Yes. The refundable security is processed within 1–2 business days after the jewellery is returned and checked in agreed condition. The security amount is separate from the rental fee and depends on the jewellery pieces and package you select.

What ID do I need?+

Valid government-issued ID is required. For NRI destination weddings, Aadhaar of a local contact in India is mandatory. We verify ID as part of the rental process and do not store or share your ID details.

Can I see pieces before booking?+

Yes. Visit our Gurugram studio in Sector 40, or book a video consultation on WhatsApp.

How far in advance should I book?+

2–4 weeks before the event is the recommended booking window. Peak season runs October–March, so you may want to plan earlier. For last-minute needs, WhatsApp us and we can check current availability.

Do you deliver to Noida, Faridabad, Manesar, or Ghaziabad?+

Yes. NCR delivery is available to covered locations within about 60 km of our Sector 40, Gurugram studio, including Noida, Faridabad, Manesar, Ghaziabad, and Delhi. Studio pickup in Gurugram remains available.

What happens if jewellery is damaged?+

Contact House of Kanya immediately. Damage beyond agreed or normal wear may affect the refundable security amount, based on assessment. We assess fairly and work with you on resolution.

What if I return late?+

Late returns incur a ₹1,000 per day fine. Let us know in advance — extensions may be possible.

What if a piece is lost?+

Contact House of Kanya immediately if a piece is lost. The refundable security amount may be affected based on assessment.

What if I change my mind before pickup?+

You can cancel before pickup. If you change your mind on the day of pickup, a ₹1,000 penalty is charged from the booking amount. This does not apply where cancellation is due to a natural calamity.
